In 2025 my nonfiction piece – ‘Calibrating’ – is in Island<\/em> magazine 175.<\/a> The poem ‘That’s That’ was shortlisted in the inaugural Robert Gray Prize for Poetry and can be found alongside the other shortlisted works \u00a0in the anthology Oystercatcher<\/em>, published by 5 Islands Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n In 2024 I was delighted to win the South Coast Writers Centre Poetry award\u00a0with this poem: ‘A Kiting of Spiders<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n In 2017 I shortlisted in the Peter Porter Poetry Prize<\/a> and in 2016 shortlisted in the joanne burns MicroLit Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n The chapbook ‘In a Night House’ (2002) is available at presspress<\/a>.<\/p>\n A story, ‘The Swooping Season’, is over at Baby Teeth Journal<\/a>. A short essay, ‘Taken for granted: maps, stories, disruption’, is at The Sociological Review<\/a>.
